How to take the photo
One good photo means better recognition. Three things to remember: shoot from directly above, flash off, cards not overlapping.

Straight from above Not like thisAt an angle Hold the phone directly above the spread so the cards keep their shape and every one can be recognised.

Flash off Not like thisFlash on, glare Turn the flash off and keep away from reflections from windows and lamps; normal indoor light is enough.

Cards apart Not like thisCards overlapping Lay the cards out with a small gap between them; anything covered cannot be read.
Let the spread fill the frame and keep the background simple.
Keep people and ID documents out of the frameIf a face is detected the photo is not uploaded and you will be asked to retake it. You review the result before the reading starts, and any misread card can be changed.
